Deputy Ministers Ngo Le Van

PERSONAL INFORMATION

Deputy Minister Ngo Le Van was born in 1976, with his hometown in Thuy Lam Commune, Dong Anh District, Hanoi City. Since 1998, he has held various positions related to external relations, management, synthesis, and research.

EDUCATION
  • Political Theory Level: Advanced

  • Professional Qualification: Bachelor's degree in International Relations, Institute for International Relations - now the Diplomatic Academy of Vietnam (1998); Master's degree in History, Ho Chi Minh National Academy of Politics (2008).

  • Language Proficiency: French (Level C), proficient in English.

DIPLOMATIC CAREER

Mr. Ngo Le Van began his career as an officer in the Organization-Personnel Department, then the Department of Synthesis, at the Party Central Committee's Commission for External Relations. From April 2010 to April 2013, he was Deputy Director-General of the Department of Synthesis, Party Central Committee's Commission for External Relations. In May 2013, he was appointed Counselor at the Embassy of Vietnam in the French Republic.

From August 2017, he was Deputy Director-General of the Department of Research and Synthesis, Party Central Committee's Commission for External Relations. From May 2018 to September 2018, he served as Deputy Director-General in charge of the Department of Research and Synthesis, Party Central Committee's Commission for External Relations.

From October 2018, he was appointed Acting Director-General of the Department of Research and Synthesis, Party Central Committee's Commission for External Relations.

From April 2019 to March 2022, he was Director-General of the Department of Research and Synthesis, Party Central Committee's Commission for External Relations.

From March 2022 to February 2025, he served as Deputy Head of the Party Central Committee's Commission for External Relations.

On February 19, 2025, according to Decision No. 320/QD-TTg of the Prime Minister, he was appointed to the position of Deputy Minister of Foreign Affairs.

Mr. Ngo Le Van has received numerous commendations and medals from the Prime Minister and the Head of the Party Central Committee's Commission for External Relations.
